Account and data controls
Request deletion of your Curfew Control account data
Curfew Control stores your verified Google email address encrypted at rest and keeps a protected Google account reference so one trial and a permanent purchase can follow the same Google Account across supported TVs and reinstalls. It does not store your Google name, password, or authorization tokens.
Request deletion by email
Email [email protected] with the subject Curfew Control account data deletion. Include any TV model you used and, if available, the installation reference shown in Curfew Control. We may ask you to verify control of an installation or purchase before deleting records.
After verifying your request, we will delete the linked Curfew Control account record, its encrypted email, and its links to your TV installations, subject to the retention details below. This does not delete your Google Account; cancel, refund, or erase a Google Play transaction; or transfer a purchase to another Curfew Control account.
What is deleted and what may remain
- Deleted: the random Curfew Control account record, verified email and email lookup hash, and its associations with TV installations.
- May remain: Google Play transaction records and a keyed one-way purchase-ownership reference required to restore a purchase only to its original account, process refunds, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations; security audit records; and installation records that are no longer linked to the deleted account.
- Trial-abuse marker: if the free trial was used, Curfew Control retains only a keyed one-way hash of Google's stable account identifier and the prior trial timestamps. This marker has no email, name, token, profile, installation, purchase, or activity history attached and is used only to prevent another free trial after deletion or reinstall.
For a request made by email, we will respond after verifying the request and complete eligible deletion without unreasonable delay. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
