Curfew Control Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Curfew Control, provided by Serviceable Software. By installing or using Curfew Control, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who may use Curfew Control

You must be an adult or otherwise legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to manage each TV, phone, app, and network used with Curfew Control.

License

Subject to these Terms and applicable store rules, Serviceable Software grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Curfew Control for lawful household-management purposes.

Trials and purchases

The TV app may offer one limited free trial per eligible Google Account, subject to device-integrity and other anti-abuse checks. A Google Account link is required to start the trial. Curfew Control retains the verified Google email address encrypted at rest for entitlement and support lookup, but does not receive your password or retain your name or authorization tokens. After the trial, you may make a one-time Google Play purchase for permanent access. The price and trial duration are displayed before the applicable transaction or in the app. Purchases, billing, refunds, taxes, and payment methods are also subject to Google Play's terms and policies. Circumventing trial, licensing, purchase, account-linking, or device-integrity checks is prohibited.

Accessibility and device controls

Curfew Control requires Android Accessibility access for its core TV restriction features. Optional protection can guard ordinary on-screen routes for uninstalling, force-stopping, archiving, clearing app data, changing Curfew Control's Accessibility access, or changing TV date and time. It is household-resistant rather than device-owner or kiosk software. ADB, safe mode, factory reset, device updates, vendor differences, and other system paths may bypass or interrupt protection.

Screen viewing

You may use screen viewing only on devices and with people you are authorized to monitor. You are responsible for notice, consent, and compliance with applicable privacy and recording laws. Curfew Control does not capture audio or save preview frames. Do not use the feature for covert surveillance, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Curfew Control or the licensing service, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious modifications, use the app to violate another person's rights, or use it for an unlawful purpose. You may not represent Curfew Control as guaranteed security, emergency protection, or a substitute for active adult supervision.

Availability and changes

Android TV devices and vendor software differ. Features may be unavailable, behave differently, or require reconfiguration after operating-system or app updates. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance, or service operation.

No guarantee of restriction

Curfew Control is a convenience tool. Restrictions, alerts, approvals, wake behavior, screen previews, and uninstall protection may fail or be bypassed. You remain responsible for household rules, device configuration, backups, supervision, and any consequences of access to a device or app.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curfew Control is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, fitness for a particular purpose, or that every restriction or protection will work on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serviceable Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of use, failed restrictions, unauthorized access, or device changes arising from Curfew Control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using Curfew Control at any time. Serviceable Software may suspend licensing-service access for abuse, fraud, security threats, or material violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the app, business model, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
